PORTAGUARD environmental protection surfaces are the most durable and cost effective for containing fuel and other contaminating liquids in the industry. In fact, PORTAGUARD’s PG-6 material is currently used by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Despite weighing only 3.33 oz (94.4 g) per sq. ft., PORTAGUARD’s PG-6 is strong. It has a bursting strength of 950 lbs. (430 kgs), hydrostatic resistance of 800 psi, and will not show any appreciable material changes for at least 8,000 hours.
PORTAGUARD environmental protection surfaces come in rolls that are 72”-100” (1.83 m - 2.54 m) wide and up to 600’ (182 m)in length and can be easily rolled into place and seamed onsite to the desired size under any PORTAFLOOR temporary flooring.

Permeable Stabilizer (Geo6) provides soil stability and permits water to seep through at a steady rate. Best used for when water needs to go through to the soil underneath a MAX installation.
Bio-Degrade Organic Stabilizer (Organic) is a 100% natural barrier and provides soil erosion control and stability. Best used for short term applications and when water need to go through to the soil underneath a MAX installation.
Bio Liquid Barrier (RPE) Lightweight reinforced polyethylene material channels water and liquids to the exterior of your site rather than allowing liquids to seep in to the soil underneath. Best used to keep the soil dry and stable underneath a MAX installation.
Zero Contamination Barrier (PG6) heavy duty polyester material meets the stringent standards of the US Army Corp of Engineers. Best used when the highest quality geo membrane environmental barriers is needed for product containment and environmental protection.
